Crystal Santos has been volunteering since she was a teenager, starting at the High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center in Old Lyme, CT. She has over 20 years of volunteer experience, including Habitat for Humanity, ReTree Schenectady, Schenectady United Neighborhoods (SUN) and serving on the Board of the Boulevard Appreciation Neighborhood Association (BANA). She recently served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Eastern NY Dressage and Combined Training Association (ENYDCTA) before becoming the Volunteer Coordinator for the Larkin Hill Horse Trials in 2019.

 

If you are interested in volunteering, contact Crystal at crystal.root@gmail.com with age category (adult or junior), if you have any preferred roles (i.e. XC jump judge, score runner, stadium jump crew, etc) and if you have any previous experience in that role or other roles.

 

We welcome all experience levels and all ages to volunteer at the Larkin Hill Horse Trials. No previous experience required. All volunteers receive a choice of volunteer gift, Larkin Hill T-shirt, free breakfast & lunch the day of the event and access to the VIP Volunteer Tent! You can sign up online using https://www.eventingvolunteers.com/ or the USEA Volunteer App, which lets you know what each volunteer position entails.
