WELCOME

Larkin’ Hill is a boarding and training facility located in Columbia and Rensselaer counties, about 20 miles southeast of Albany, New York.

ABOUT US

We offer training in Dressage and Eventing for riders with their own horses.  We also host several schooling shows and clinics during the year, as well as a USEA Recognized Horse Trials.  Situated at the northern edge of the Old Chatham Hunt Country, we also support the activities of the Old Chatham Pony Club with lessons and use of the facility for its members.

Encompassing nearly 100 acres, the Larkin Hill facility includes 12 stalls in the main barn and an additional 5 stalls in the Bunker Hill Farm barn located on the adjoining property.  Our 188’ x’ 72’ indoor arena and  235’ x 300’ outdoor arena - both with exceptional footing - provide excellent areas for training, while our cross-country course offers obstacles ranging from Introductory Level (2’) up to Preliminary (3’7”), including water, ditches and banks.

We take great pride in our reputation for excellent horse care, ample turn out, and a friendly, supportive atmosphere.  While we usually are full, we sometimes have stall openings available.  Please feel free to contact Margie at (518) 441-2176 for more information.
